Born in Australia, David was a stylist with Vogue Nationale, where he worked alongside Schwarkopf, Hair Dresser of the Year. He became a member of the I H S Artistic Team and began working heavily with the Schwarkopf Group as a National Platform Artist. David also styled hair for several award-winning films and was the stylist for renowned photographer Geoff Daughth on all his shoots.
In 2000, David was afforded the opportunity to work with hairdressing legend, Jose Eber in Houston, Texas. There David began on editorial work and making several television appearances. Along this journey, David met and worked with several television and film stars, like Farah Fawcett, Jacklyn Smith, Reem Acra, Oscar de la Renta, Iman, Dana Buckman, Trish McEvoy, Badgley Mischka, President Bush, and Mohammad-Ali. Four years later, David was NBC's Daybreak stylist where he would offer viewers the latest and the greatest with the hottest trends in hair and fashion.
Building roots in Houston, David now has his own venture, Therapy Hair Studio, were he continues stay on the cutting edge and accommodate clients from around the country. Recognizing David as a fresh entrepreneur making an immediate impact in the beauty industry, Glamour Magazine flew to Houston from New York to do a weeklong morning segment with him.
Within eighteen months of opening Therapy Hair Studio, David has seen his business featured in InStyle’s Beauty Black Book, Houston Modern Luxury, Houston Chronicle, Allure, Vogue, Culture Map, Scleroderma Voice, and various news stations including ABC’s Mirror Mirror segment.
